Stone’s Throw Cottage is owned by Michael and Heidi Barreyro. We came up with the name because we live right next door, a stone’s throw away. La Crosse has been our home for over 20 years, and we love it for so many reasons. Easy to bike around, friendly people, beautiful scenery, (La Crosse is nestled between the Mississippi River and the bluffs), great music scene, vibrant arts community, and a thriving downtown. Whether you visit for a weekend or a week, you will be delighted with all that the driftless region has to offer.
